Water does not appear to be dissipating down the drain and has backed up over our sidewalk onto the lawn. There are not enough drains on the block and this one takes all of the runoff from the front of the street as well as all of the runoff from the unsaved back lane. Whenever it rains, the mud from the back lane runs to the drain and I think that it is now plugged at the bottom of the drain. It needs the mud removing so that it can function properly and not allow the runoff water to pool at the top of the drain, the street, sidewalk and lawn. The back lane also isn't graded proper and has severe pooling.
