Yield sign should be changed to a stop Sign for safety close to a school.

Issue: Permanent Sign (Add or Modify)

Details of request: Evansfield way is a yield sign onto Evanston Drive Nw. We were walking to school when a puke green Jeep with a Caucasian blonde woman (30-45yo) yielded to traffic but failed to see us crossing even though I was waving my arms trying to get their attention. If it was another child without an adult they would have been hit by the car. It should be a stop sign perhaps reminding drivers to look both ways.This has happened before and I'm sure with a school within 1km of this intersection the right thing should be done and change the sign to a permanent stop sign.
