Large construction holes on the side of the road

Specific details of the issue: Hello, it seems that construction has left large vertical holds along 32 Ave nw. They are essentially tire breakers with sharp edges, and no cones marking them anymore. Will the road be left like this from now on? Please fix those because when it is busy with large trucks, busses etc., we get uncomfortably close to these openings. Please update on this matter.
