The road on 81st street and westpark place has been closed for a couple of years and I understand it is set to open again. There is an extreme safety risk at this road crossing for children especially since they haven't had to consisder cars coming from north to south for such a long period of time. I think it is critical a prominent flashing pedestrian sign be added to protect children and the public prior to the road being opened.
