Request for accessible parking sign. To be placed on CentreA St NW north of the concrete pad. Transferring into our private vehicle is done from the curb. Getting into Access Calgary is done from the curb cut. Sign needs to be located north of where personal vehicle is parked for transferring into. Arrow on sign needs to point south. Then the sign will be visible and not blocked by trees. The accessible sign previously in place was removed by The City when they did the curb cut/ramp.

Issue: Permanent Sign (Add or Modify)

Details of request: The accessible parking sign that was in place was removed by The City when they put in a curb cut/accessible ramp. A new sign, placed at the north end of the accessible parking zone, pointing south is needed. If the old sign is used it will not be visible - it will be blocked by a tree.

Specific location details: On CentreA Street NW south of 7 Ave. North of the concrete pad at the side porch - far enough north to allow space for transferring into personal vehicle from the concrete pad. Curb cut will be used when taking Access Calgary or accessible taxi. Curb (not curb cut) is used to transfer into personal vehicle as in photo. Please Note: Sufficient space is needed north of the concrete pad to transfer into our personal vehicle.
