It has come to the attention of the residents of Sorrel Place SW that Calgary Parking Authority will be enforcing parallel parking in our cul-de-sac. Due to the nature of the higher density housing that surrounds the cul-de-sac (4-plex, 7-plex buildings) parallel parking will only cause more issues between neighbours and a higher likely hood for accidents to occur. We are looking for a sign to allow angled parking.

Issue: Permanent Sign (Add or Modify)

Details of request: We are looking to have a sign to permit angled parking within the cul-de-sac. After speaking with many neighbours, everyone who drives and parks in the area agree that angled parking is necessary for the amount of people that live around the cul-de-sac. The complaints leading to parallel parking were made by a neighbour who does not drive or own a vehicle.
